Claire’s Corner
Well, everybody has a clean slate and we’re ready to start over. When opportunity knocks, you have to answer the door. Here’s what opportunity is saying. Chicago is playing at home and Green Bay is hurting. The Bears have been hot lately and I’m picking them in that match up. New England has also looked unstoppable. Sure, the Chargers are well coached and will get Herbert back, but the Patriots have been easily putting up 30 points a game and I have to respect that. As long as the spread remains at 3.5 points, I’m going to have to take Pittsburgh in the game against Houston. After that thriller against the Ravens, with Pittsburgh again playing at home, I think they can stay within a field goal of the Texans. That half-a-point in the Rams/Panthers game is also concerning. Yes the Panthers could lose by 10, but they’d still be a winning pick.
